The Oregon Toxics Alliance is a strategic grassroots organization working towards toxics use reduction statewide. Foremost is our goal to establish public policy changes in Oregon leading to dramatic reforms in toxics use and contamination. To achieve this larger goal, the Oregon Toxics Alliance will work to establish loccal and staste policies based on the Precautionary Principle. Alternatives Assessment, and citizens' right-to-know, all of which offer major potential to significatnly reduce toxics threats.
